Theme & Event Details
The theme of the 2027 conference is Embrace Positivity. Expand Your Impact. This year’s theme invites presenters to explore how coaches embrace positivity and expand impact for and across individuals, teams, and organizations.
Dates: March 4–7, 2027
Application Deadline: October 7, 2026 (11:59 PM CST)
We welcome both seasoned presenters and first-time speakers who bring creativity, alignment with the theme, and a coaching perspective. Presenters may choose from three opportunities:
| Breakout Sessions

Length: 60 or 90 minutes
-
Format: Interactive workshop, clearly related to coaching
-
Focus: Core Competencies or Resource Development (CCEUs available)

Note: Content should be designed to meet ICF Continuing Coach Education Unit (CCEU) criteria.
| Coaching Mastery Demos and Discussions
-
Live coaching sessions with experienced PCC or MCC coaches, followed by a facilitated discussion
-
Provides participants with the opportunity to observe coaching mastery in action
| Morning Activities
-
Length: Up to 1 hour, pre-breakfast, mid-afternoon energizer
-
Examples: Group journaling, hiking, mindfulness meditation, Tai Chi, yoga, creative movement, or other energizing practices
Application Requirements
Before starting the application, be sure to have the following information ready:

Status of your current ICF credential and renewal date

Session title and short description (up to 350 words)

3–5 clear learning outcomes

If applicable, the ICF Core Competencies your session addresses (https://coachingfederation.org/core-competencies)

Digital headshot (JPEG or PNG, 100MB max)

Short professional bio (150 words max)

Links to prior presentations (optional)

Permission for your session to be recorded for public distribution
How Applications are Evaluated
-
Coaching credentials (ICF preferred) and other relevant qualifications of the lead presenter (co-presenters do not need ICF credentials)
-
Potential for CCEU approval—especially Core Competency credits
-
Alignment with the conference theme
-
Demonstrated facilitation and public speaking experience

Inform attendees about your workshop

Include you in the ICF local chapter database of presenters
Materials & Equipment

Presenters are responsible for handouts, supplies, and other session materials.

Available on-site: screen, projector, flipchart, microphone, pens

We encourage offering digital handouts when possible
Submission Process

Applications must be submitted through the online application form

Applications via mail or email will not be accepted

You will receive an email confirmation on the same day your application is submitted
